Project Summary
Through the TB Network, Lagos State, our focal person has been playing the role of a case manager in Ojo Local Government where several outreaches have been carried out in schools, faith-based organization and among members of the CDAs. The community sensitization and advocacy programme aimed at reducing the prevalence of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) across communities in Lagos State.
The project focused on increasing public understanding of Gender-Based Violence, human rights, survivor support services, and community responsibility in preventing violence. Through grassroots engagement, awareness campaigns, and referral support, the initiative empowered community members to become advocates against violence and promoters of safe and inclusive communities.
